This resort was a lovely and peaceful retreat, just a short drive from Port Douglas and close to the beach. The spacious and clean apartments were a pleasant surprise, with all the amenities we needed for our family stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our visit feel like home. However, being a bit out of town meant a car was necessary, and we found the rooms a tad outdated though still comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Nimrod Resort Apartments, which offered a perfect base for our family trip. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-equipped for self-catering, and the pool area was fantastic for the kids. Leanne and Gus made us feel right at home with their generous hospitality. Although it’s a bit away from the main activity in Port Douglas, the quiet atmosphere was ideal for us. The only downside was that the rooms showed some signs of being slightly outdated, but overall, it was a terrific experience.
